Emotional Wellbeing in Pre Teens (8 to 12 years)
Pre-adolescence, often referred to as the “pre-teen” years (defined loosely as the years between eight or nine to twelve) is a time of monumental shifts in your child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. It’s a time of growing independence but it can also be scary for kids. Your child in this stage may experience complex emotions about themselves as well as others around them.
The changes they experience in their bodies and the way they experience their world could have a drastic shift for them – leaving them feeling confused, angry, scared, doubtful or isolated. Issues like depression, anxiety, loneliness, bullying, low self esteem, body image concerns are just a few manifestations of a child struggling to cope up with their emotional experiences.
This program helps your child understand, acknowledge and manage their emotions while equipping them with resources and tools to cope with transitional challenges that come in this stage of adolescence. Below is the program overview:

Emotional Wellbeing in Teens (12-16 years)
Teenage or adolescent years tend to be a phase of ups and downs. It is a period of rapid growth changes and confusion in which your teenager lets go of a safe hold on childhood and reaches out for a firm grasp on adulthood. Some commonly seen issues among teenagers are substance related issues, sexuality concerns, sleep related concerns, unhealthy eating habits and technology addiction.
This transitional stage brings along new experiences for these young adults, through which they are slowly introduced to an independent way of life. It is important for them to develop new skill sets to confront various life stressors that are better dealt with by being mindful about their feelings and accessing support systems that exist around them. But talking about their emotions can be difficult and even more taxing if they don’t feel understood. There are multiple stressors that are experienced by your teenager during this life stage and one of the ways to help them cope with these changes is to teach them emotional regulation.
This program helps your child understand, acknowledge and manage their emotions while equipping them with resources and tools to cope with transitional challenges that come in this stage of adolescence.
